Contraction Timer, by Scanly Studio

Email scanlystudio.support@proton.me and a person will answer. Please say which phone you are on (iPhone or Android) and what you were doing when it went wrong. It usually saves a round trip.

The Lifetime plan and the weekly plan

The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase. There is nothing to cancel: it does not renew, and nothing is charged after your baby arrives. Tap “Restore purchases” on the plan screen to bring it back on a new phone signed in with the same Apple Account or Google account.

The weekly plan is a subscription billed by the store you bought it from, not by us, so it is cancelled on your phone rather than in the app. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Contraction Timer → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Contraction Timer → Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the week you have already paid for runs out. There is no free trial.

I paid but the app still asks me to

Tap Restore on the plan screen. That asks the App Store — or Google Play on Android — for purchases made with the account currently signed in on the device, so if you bought it on a different Apple Account or Google account, sign into that one first. A purchase made on one store cannot be restored on the other. If Restore still finds nothing, email us with the receipt the store sent you and we will sort it out.

Refunds

Refunds are handled entirely by the store you bought from, not by us. For an App Store purchase, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account you bought with. For a Google Play purchase, request one at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory using the Google account you bought with. We cannot issue a refund on a store's behalf, but tell us what went wrong anyway: it is how the app gets better.

Moving to a new phone

Your history lives only on the phone you entered it on. There is no account or cloud copy on our side, so it travels with a normal device backup and restore (iCloud or computer on iPhone, Google backup on Android), not through the app.

Deleting your data

Your entries are stored on your phone and nowhere else, so deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
